Engine Protection

The engine protection kit monitors oil pressure and engine temperature. If either go outside preset levels an alarm will sound, and the engine will be shut down preventing it from costly damage. Actual studies with TruGreen, Staples and Scots Lawncare showed savings from 11% to 25% of Fuel with a three minute idle limit using the CV-MARC. At 40,000 miles per year, 7 MPG and fuel at $2.25 a gallon that is 857 gallons and $1,928 per year. Each gallon save also reduces CO2 emmissions by 22.2 lbs. for diesel, or 19.4 lbs. for gasoline which is a reduction of 9.5 tons a year. Idle limiting increases efficiency of your vehicles by only allowing them to sit at idle for a predetermined amount of time. Idle limiting can save you fuel costs, and it’s better for the environment.

Battery Monitoring

We are able to monitor and preserve battery life by shutting off draws when voltage drops to 12.2, or if battery draws are needed for production we can automatically start the engine to keep the battery charged. Our battery protection kit monitors for low voltage, and disconnects any items connected to it’s latch relay. A visual alarm notifies the driver that the relay has been tripped, allowing for reset. The battery monitoring and auto start kit will monitor the battery, and restart the engine if the voltage drops below 12.2 for more than a minute. The vehicle will then start and run for 12 minutes until fully charged.
